Nib : Gold model – 18K yellow gold. Inlaid with a platinum dragon head and
engraved with the words “Hong Kong 1997”.
Body : Chinese red resin sheathed in 18K gold sculpted in haut-bas relief
with the design of the mother and the son dragons emerging from a pattern
resembling silk. Surrounded by water droplets, the dragons support a
heraldic emblem containing the dolphin and the Bauhinia flowers, symbol of
Hong Kong.
Limited : 063/200 released in 1997 to celebrate Hong Kong’s return to the
Motherland.
