Maralunga re-upholstered with real sheep hide. This stunning piece is obviously a one of a kind and has not been used since it has been re-upholstered. The Maralunga is a design icon which was designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina Italy in the 1970's. Warm, enveloping shapes accentuate the luxurious comfort of this design armchair; comfort also ensured by the bicycle-chain mechanism for adjusting the headrest position that is embedded in the foam cushion.
The chair will be shipped insured overseas in a custom made wooden crate. Cost of transport is crate included.

The "Amedeo Cassina" company was created by the brothers Cesare and Umberto Cassina in 1927 in Meda, Brianza, (Northern Italy) After the war, Cassina continued to expand in size and fame, with products which covered a broad range of furniture.
