Sculptural white lacquered steel coat stand with turned wooden beads, post modern style

Sculptural coat stand in white lacquered tubular steel, with a spine of turned wooden beads in graduated sizes and tones from pale blond to warm amber. The upper section fans out into an angular, origami-like crown of slender rods with plenty of room for coats, scarves and hats. Below, a tripod base with cross-bracing gives it a stable stance and a light, airy silhouette.

The beaded column works like a small totem at the centre, adding a warm, tactile contrast to the graphic white frame. It is functional and easy to place, and it stands in a hallway or entrance as an object in its own right, in the spirit of post modern wire and rod design.

In very good condition. The lacquer is clean and the beads are smooth with a natural patina.

The coat rack will be shipped insured overseas in a custom made wooden crate. Insured transport to the US crate included is Euro 875 if we take care of the transportation which we highly recommend.
