This set of four dining chairs is made of solid wengé, the dense, dark African hardwood prized by mid-century designers. The sculpted, gently curved backrests are framed by turned posts with rounded finials. The grain runs deep chocolate brown with an almost black figure, and it looks beautiful in the light. The seats are newly upholstered in a soft grey woven fabric, which keeps the look modern and calm. The proportions are generous and comfortable, and the chairs are sturdy enough for daily use. They would suit a dining table in almost any interior, from Scandinavian to Japandi to classic modernist. The set is in excellent vintage condition, with the minor signs of age that come with solid hardwood furniture from this period.

The chairs will be shipped overseas insured in a custom made wooden crate. Cost of transport to the US, Euro 950, is crate included.
