Mid-Century Modern Light Sculpture by Aldo van de Nieuwelaar
Aldo van de NieuwelaarMid-Century Modern light sculpture TC6 created by Aldo van de Nieuwelaar, the Netherlands, in 1968. Aldo van de Nieuwelaar was inspired by Gerrit Rietveld, de Stijl and Bauhaus. The TC6, the square box from which emerges a circular fluorescent tube, part of the collections of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen Rotterdam and the Museum of Modern Art in New York, was initially created as an Art work. After this, it has been produced in very limited quantities to be used as table or wall lamp.
The lamp will be shipped insured overseas in a custom made wooden crate. Cost of transport to the US, Euro 245, is crate included.
