The print presents a close study of a stone wall in Hagi, its rhythmic arrangement of rounded stones contrasted against the dark tiled roof and luminous sky beyond. A flowering tree softly enters the scene, adding warmth and seasonal life to this otherwise architectural meditation.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eExecuted in the time-honored tradition of Japanese woodblock printing (mokuhanga), this work demonstrates Nishijima’s mastery of clean line, subtle color gradation, and compositional balance.
