Designer: Giotto Stoppino (1926–2011) was an influential Italian architect and designer associated with the Neo-Liberty movement. His work for Kartell, Acerbis, and other leading brands blended functionality with sculptural form, earning him international acclaim and a Compasso d’Oro award.
Manufacturer: Founded in Milan in 1949, Kartell revolutionized furniture design through the industrial use of plastic.
