Unique Copper Brass and Glass Armchair Sculpture

One of a kind copper brass and glass arm chair sculpture. This rare beauty which could easily fit in in the Game of Thrones, was made by Cor de Ree in the Netherlands in 1995. Cor de Ree mostly designs and produces objects like thrones, couches, armchairs and towers with a functional touch. Copper tubes make up the frame, which is then then 'lined' with copper, zinc and brass panels. Stained glass and old ornaments are added as a finishing touch. Cor de Ree draws his inspiration from sources including Art Deco, Gothic and Moorish styles. That combination has resulted in his own style.
