About Andrea Branzi
Andrea Branzi (1938–2023) was a seminal figure in contemporary Italian design. Trained as an architect in Florence, he co-founded the radical design collective Archizoom Associati in the 1960s, a movement that challenged modernist orthodoxy with bold, conceptual works. Throughout his career, Branzi’s output spanned architecture, furniture, industrial design, and theory. He became closely associated with the Italian Radical Design movement and later postmodernism, contributing to brands like Alchimia and Memphis. His works are held in major museum collections worldwide, including MoMA (New York) and the Centre Pompidou (Paris).

Andrea Branzi is an Italian architect, designer, and urban planner, born in Florence in 1938. He is known for his unique approach to design, which blends art, architecture, and industrial design.
